City of Scotts Valley, California, Partners with OpenGov To Update Permitting and Licensing Processes

The City of Scotts Valley, CA, has partnered with OpenGov, the leader in modern cloud ERP software for our nation’s cities, counties, and state agencies, to update its permitting and licensing processes via OpenGov Citizen Services

Located just down the road from Santa Cruz, CA, Scotts Valley is a small, growing city that has been struggling to keep up with manual paper processes. The City received SB 2 Planning Funds from the California Department of Housing and Community Development to purchase its first online permitting system.

The City will roll out its online service offerings in phases, beginning with three service areas. Applicants will soon be able to apply online, receive real-time feedback on their applications, and track the status of their requests through a single digital portal.

Scotts Valley joins more than 1,000 public sector organizations leveraging OpenGov to revolutionize work processes with cloud-based software designed specifically for the needs of government.
