Idaho Highway District Partners with OpenGov for Local Government Budgeting Software

When Ada County Highway District (ACHD) leaders decided to modernize their budgeting process, they selected OpenGov, the leader in modern cloud ERP software for our nation’s cities, counties, and state agencies.

The ACHD, located in Garden City, ID, and the only countywide highway district in the State, covers all of Ada County and the six cities within it. Responsible for short-term planning as well as construction, maintenance, and improvements to the County’s roads and bridges, the ACHD will rely on OpenGov Budgeting & Planning to overhaul its operating budget process.

The ACHD is moving from an Excel-based budget process to OpenGov’s government budgeting software that is more efficient, accurate, and increases time-savings. OpenGov Budgeting & Planning will provide the team with greater ability to collaborate and forecast long-term expenses to improve the budgeting process. The ACHD is looking forward to communicating more transparently with its board and the public now that it has the ability to publish its budget and reports online.

The ACHD joins more than 1,000 public sector organizations leveraging OpenGov to revolutionize work processes with cloud-based software designed specifically for the needs of government.
